Atom LL 2, U11 (OMHA), 2014-2015 (Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey)

Submitted by Jen Fowler  Congratulations on a great season and the Championship win.    Forwards: Lucas Noe, Liam Kelly, Andrew Guo, Joseph Hodgkins, Caleb Mason, Tyler Morrison, Tristan Lennan, Brennan Martin, Camden Ritchie and Devin Drury.    Defensemen: Quinn Fowler, Dylan Poulsen, Ritchie Carter, Nick Embro, and Brady Phillips and Jack Bennett – Goalie.

Can you give the “Player of the Game” award to a whole bunch of kids?  There is a long list of players whose energy, effort and skills would earn them the Player of the Game for their showing tonight.

In the final game in the post-season round-robin, Saugeen Shores LL 2 puts one more W on the score sheet.  Finishing a perfect series with 10 points, LL2 goes on to play Bruce Peninsula 1 for the Championship Finals:  Game 1 scheduled for Monday, March 9 at 7 pm in Wiarton.

The boys came onto the ice pumped for the game against the other Storm team – LL 1.   There were many fans in the stands to watch the good-natured rivalry between the hometown teams. 

A big thanks to the South-Port Optimist Club for hosting a great event complete with a lunch for players and team leadership staff in the Green Room.  It is wonderful to have a tournament right here at home with the support of local volunteers.
