LL2 vs. Bruce Peninsula 1 (Reg Season)

Four Defensemen looked like they had been playing together for years.  Richie Carter and Brady Philips were looking up the ice and watching for their teammates.  Nick was a defensive star, really getting into the game, with speed and accuracy in reading the play.  Dylan Poulsen covered the ice moving quickly to keep the Storm dominating the play.  Carter realized late in the game that he could put some muscle behind his shots to keep the puck inside the blue line.  We hope to see more of Carter's strength in future games.

Fowler?  Playing Centre?  What?  OK, maybe Coach had a feeling that Quinn Fowler felt like scoring last night.  He racked up 5 goals this game, another 2 goals were contributed by a persistent Lucas Noe and one was popped in by Camden Ritchie.  Goals were assisted by Poulsen, Guo, Embro, Hodgkins, Fowler and Mason.  Looks like deflection practice paid off for a gorgeous dump and tip into the net late in the game.  Caleb Mason and Joseph Hodgkins looked great out there staying in position.

Andrew Guo had power in several shots and Tristan Lennan worked hard to take advantage of scoring opportunities.

The Northstars only managed to get 3 goals past the super-speedy Jack Bennet, Jack had many great saves making great use of his glove and stick.  The hours of driveway-play are paying off for our full-time goalie, who is in the permanent position for the first time in his career.

Final score 8 -3 Storm.
