U11 Boys Rep, 2021-2022, U11 (Atom) (Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey)

The Saugeen Shores U11 Rep Storm, sponsored by UNIFOR, made it to the semi-final game in the Wingham Silver Stick Tournament.  The first game of round robin play was Monday evening against the South Huron Sabres.  The Storm had a slow start to the game and South Huron opened the scoring early in the first period.  Saugeen Shores had a 5 on 4 advantage several times in the first two periods, but were unable to organize an attack and gave up a short-handed goal early in the second.

The Saugeen Shores U11 Rep Storm, sponsored by UNIFOR, posted a convincing win in their Tuesday night game against the Hanover Falcons.  The Storm started strong, controlling the play from the first puck drop, and opened the scoring three and a half minutes into the period when Cooper Henderson cleaned up a loose puck in front of the Falcons net sent in by Mack Smith and Gordie Brady. 

The Saugeen Shores U11 Rep Storm, sponsored by UNIFOR, posted their first home ice win of the season against the Listowel Cyclones on Sunday afternoon.  The Storm came out strong in the first period skating hard and attacking the Listowel net.  The first Storm chance came when Chase Cosgrove passed it to Mack Smith for a shot on net

The Saugeen Shores U11 Rep Storm, sponsored by UNIFOR, traveled to Mount Forest to face the Rams on Saturday afternoon and posted their first draw of the season.  In the first period Saugeen Shores spent much of their time in the Rams end and successfully killed a tripping penalty, but Rams #11 capitalized on a misplay to open the scoring late in the period.  The same Rams player then broke through and scored a breakaway goal 30 seconds later.  The Storm regrouped and Kai Bailey got a goal for the Storm on a strong drive to the net, bringing some life back to his teammates and ending the ...

Saugeen Shores U11 Rep Storm, sponsored by UNIFOR, headed to Wellesley/St. Clements for the Twin Centre Stars Rep Classic Tournament this weekend.  The Storm played their first game against the Mitchell Meteors on Friday evening and came out strong right from the first puck drop.  Will Conley opened the scoring with a short-handed goal, followed by a goal from Mack Smith, on his way out of the penalty box, on a puck clear by Richie Buckland.  The third goal came from Gordy Brady assisted by Will Conley to end the period 3-0.
