PeeWee AE, U13 (OMHA), 2017-2018 (Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey)

The Scotiabank Peewee AE team had a busy “hockey weekend” with an away exhibition game, a home league game and a special appearance at the Plex.

The Scotiabank Peewee AE team took on BCH Ice Dogs at home this past Sunday, and came out on top with a 3-2 win during regular season play.  The Storm needed this little boost after suffering three losses in our last away tournament. 

The Saugeen Shores Scotiabank Peewee AE team travelled to Nobleton to play in the King Fall Classic tournament.  The lineup for the Peewee division included teams from Millbrook, Richmond Hill, Kings own Rebellion, Orangeville, BCH , and the Saugeen Shores Storm.  The minor hockey teams were close matched and the cup victory could have gone any direction.  Unfortunately for the Storm, the Victory did not travel our direction.  Coming in on top was Richmond Hill Stars who won all of their games in the tournament.

The Scotiabank Peewee AE team invited the Minto Mad Dogs to town for a Sunday afternoon match up at the Plex.   The Scotiabank Peewee AE team was pumped as they had a big win Friday evening, and felt as though they could do a repeat of the last game.   The boys played awesome and come out on top!  It was a hard-fought 7-5 win. 

The Scotiabank Peewee AE team travelled to Clinton to play BCH ICE Dogs at the Central Huron Community Centre. This was the second time that these two teams matched up this season, the first which was on home ice, and ended in a tie. The Scotiabank Peewee AE team came out strong and never eased off for the entire game. Defeating BCH by a score of 8-0 the Storm showed pride, and good sportsmanship.
