Win over Kincardine Kinucks 2
Rowlands Indpendent PeeWee LL 2 boys came out on the attack early in the game and bombarded the Kincardine goalie with shots. Taking their first win of the season 6:2 over Kincardine at the Southampton Coliseum Saturday, Oct 22nd.
Standouts this game were Ritchie Carter and Andrew Guo. Ritchie put on the rocket boosters throughout the game watching for opportunities to carry the puck up the ice and he took an amazing shot from the point threading the needle to the mesh for a beauty goal. Keep it up Ritchie!
Andrew Guo seemed to have wings on his skates as he flew up the ice and put 4 goals on the board, two in the 1st, one in the 2nd and one in the 3rd. Strong skating skill and getting into position were Andrew’s winning combination for an awesome game.
Tyler Morrison had a fire burning from start to finish and didn’t let up. His hard work paid off with a goal in the 3rd period.
Kincardine got only 2 goals past super Storm goaltender Jack Bennett, both in the 2nd period.
Fantastic work in the 3rd period, everyone came alive! Shout-outs to forwards Peter, Hunter, Brennan, Cole, Lucas and Quinn who were watching for passes, scoring opportunities and open ice. Kudos to Nick, Brady and Josh for your solid defensive showing. Goals were assisted by Hunter, Ritchie, and Lucas.
