Midget BB, U18 (OMHA), 2013-2014 (Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey)

After a cancellation of game three in Erin-Hillsburgh last weekend due to the weather, the two teams got together Friday, January 31st at the Plex.  With all the weather cancellations of ice time, or half-practices” when they could get on the ice with some of the team players, the BDO Dunwoody midgets came out flat.  Thirteen seconds into the game the visitors were up 1-0 on a break-away goal, which was not a good sign.  Three minutes later Erin-Hillsburgh was up 2-0, and before the end of the first period the Devils had a commanding 4-0 lead, the third goal a power play goal.  

In the second match of the season and first game of the New Year, the Storm hosted the Mount Forest Rams at the Plex on January 4th.  The home team outplayed the visitors by a wide margin in the first period, but it was the Rams who drew first blood, scoring in the first minute of the game to take a 1-0 lead. 

Please arrive early for your photos and get dressed in full uniform including skates and a stick.  The photos will be taken in the Club Room. 

 This past week the Saugeen Shores Storm Midgets played matches against the Capitals and Falcons.  The last meetings versus these teams the Storm won by a substantial margin, but this time around the opposing teams were better prepared. 

 On Sunday November 10th the Saugeen Shores BDO Dunwoody Midget Storm held a home game at the Plex versus the Hanover Falcons for the first match between the two teams this season.
