The Saugeen Shores Storm PeeWee Girls HL finished their season on a strong note today, winning the Consolation Championship game in the WOAA year-end Playoff Tourney in Lucknow, with a hard fought 3-1 win over Mount Forest.
Scoring for the Storm were Morgan, Tehya and Maggie, with assists going to Courtney, Mackenzie and Tehya. Ashlin played strong in net and the entire team gave their best effort of the year, playing strong defense, to close a great season on a high note. The entire team received the Golden Stick honors for player of the game, well done all!

The Saugeen Shores Storm PeeWee Girls HL were upended today in the second round of the year-end playoffs by the TCDMHA Rebels C team by a close score of 3-2. The teams were tied until mid way through the third period.
Great effort by all the girls today. Tehya scored both goals and Courtney added an assist. Player of the game, receiving the golden stick, was Morgan, way to go!
The Storm play their final game, of what has been a tremendous season, tomorrow morning. Best of luck tomorrow girls and Go Storm Go!

The Saugeen Shores Storm PeeWee Girls HL skated past Upper Maitland in their first game of the year-end Playoff Tournament in Lucknow by a score of 2-1.
Great defensive game from all the girls and great goaltending from Ashlin. Maggie and Courtney scored the goals for the Storm and Madison and a Tehya added an assist each. Player of the game with her great effort tonight was MacKenzie, well done.
