BDO Dunwoody Atom's Split with Huskies and Ice Dogs
The BDO Dunwoody Saugeen Shores Atom BB team was on the road this week.  Tuesday, they were off to Durham to take on the Huskies.  The Storm scored first as Shawn Charlebois fed the puck out of the corner to Brayden Horseman in front of the net.

A few minutes later, Durham would tie it up.  The second was back and forth with penalties & power plays for both teams but nothing would come of it.  Five minutes into the third, The Huskies took advantage of the extra man to make it 2-1.  Seconds later, Christian Doubt thought he had the glove save but the puck hit the top of his glove and bounced in.  It was a tough 3-1 loss for the Storm but a good game.

Saturday afternoon, The Storm was off to Tara to take on the Arran-Elderslie Icedogs.  At the halfway point of the first with the man advantage, Justin Marlow sent the puck to Isaac Fewster, who passed it to Brayden Horseman and he stick-handled it around the goalie.  The action continued up and down the ice until two thirds of the way through the second when William Forsyth passed to his defensive partner, Kent Ribey who took the shot and Justin Marlowe tipped it in.  Fifteen seconds later, Jack Middleton passed to his defensive partner, Nolan Dereski, who sent to down low to Emma Vanhaelemeesch and she put it in.  The Storm was caught pinching on the power play and the Icedogs scored short handed at 13:06.  Arran Elderslie quickly added to their total with another goal one minute into the third but the Storm didn’t give up.  Three minutes later there was a scramble in front of the Icedog’s net.  William Forsyth sent the puck around the back of the net to Jack Middleton who tucked it into the open corner.  But the Icedogs answered back a minute later with another short handed goal.  With fifteen seconds left in the game, Cam Lightfoot added one more to the Storm’s total with help from Emma Vanhaelemeesch and Nolan Dereski.  Great effort from forwards Ben Lalonde and Hunter Cannon as the Storm win it 5-3.
