Cobean, gets ready to hold the blue line The BDO Dunwoody Atom BB team won their best of three series against the Hanover Falcons in two games straight to move onto the next round in the Lockridge Division of the WOAA playdowns.  Although the Saugeen Shores team had easily handled the Falcons in recent past, this series proved to be closer than expected. 

The BDO Dunwoody Atom BB team finished off another week of playoff hockey with a couple of wins.  Although the week ended off on a positive note, it didn’t start out the same way.  The Atom BB team travelled to Durham on Tuesday, Feb. 23rd to face the Durham Huskies.  The Huskies wasted no time in setting the Storm team back on its heels, scoring a quick goal during the first minute of play.  The Storm never really found a way to recover and their defensive play kept the final score to 4-0 for the Huskies.

Flarity tracks the puck before he deflects it wide in the game against Durham The BDO Dunwoody Atom BB Team fared well this past weekend as they took on the Hanover Falcons and Durham Huskies.  The Saugeen Shores Storm team faced off first against the Hanover Falcons on Saturday, Feb. 13th at the Plex.  The Storm came charging out of the gate to score one in the first minute of the game as Will Rickerby, assisted by Michael Fiegehan, found the back of the net.  The Hanover Falcons quickly answered back, netting one for themselves just over two minutes ...
