Midget B, U18 (OMHA), 2018-2019 (Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey)

The Nicol Insurance Storm Midget B’s have been crowned 2019 WOAA Gregg Division Champions!  After coming out on top of their exciting round robin WOAA playoff series, where they bested Goderich, TCDMHA and Wingham, the Storm met last year's Gregg Division Champions, the BCH Ice Dogs, in the final. The 5 game series was hard fought and evenly matched throughout, with the teams each winning games at home and away. With the series tied at 2 games a piece, on Monday night (01APR) the Storm hit the road to Clinton once again for the fifth and deciding game.  

With a thrilling 3-2 victory over the Goderich Sailors the Nicol Insurance Storm Midget B’s have advanced to the 2019 WOAA Gregg Division finals. 

The Nicol Insurance Storm Midget Bs travelled to Paris this past weekend (Nov30) to take part in the Art Coombs Memorial Tournament.  After coming off a semi-final finish in the Wingham Regional Silver Stick a few weeks ago, the team once again played their hearts out and provided the fans in attendance with some amazing hockey.
