Third Straight Shut out!
It's obvious what Tiffany Kewagishig's New Year's resolution was, not to allow a goal in 2014. So far she has kept good on it as she posted her third straight shut out to start the year. Also, the team reached it's 8th game without a loss, with 6 wins and 2 ties. Last night it was TCDMHA that fell victim. Sarah Underwood continues her scoring streak with a first minute goal and Savanah Brown with a hard wrist shot put the girls up 2-0 early on. It looked like it could get lop sided but the visitors settled down and played well from there on.
The Heather's Pooodle Care/ Ralph's Shoppette Bantam C's nursed their lead and when needed Tiff held the fort. It is going to be a real test as this week unfolds with 3 road games starting Wed. in Ayton, Friday in Thornbury and Saturday in Teeswater. The team is gearing up for the Silver Stick and there is no better way than playing and winning. Just in case you girls read this remember what got you to this point, hard work, fighting for every loose puck and solid team work. And if all else fails we still have Tiff!
