Tie Game in Paisley!
In a scoreless first period in Paisley against the Ice Dogs, the Atom LL team showed the fans that they “came to play”. Storm players made some great passes and the chemistry on-ice showed how the team is working together.

Braden Kahgee did well at controlling the puck this game. Kahgee’s efforts resulted in 2 goals, one in the second period at 6:57 after a scramble in front of the net and another in the third period assisted by Aiden deVries. Quinn Fowler blocked the Ice Dogs defencemen who were chasing Ethan Walsh on a breakaway. Ethan took the shot and scored at 4:28 in the second period assisted by deVries – Great passing by Aiden this game. Nice wrist shot, Ethan! There was some serious Girl Power this game and Tehya Johnson had a fabulous showing, helping to protect the net and move the puck up the ice. Paydon Ritchie was definitely “on her game today” stealing and clearing the puck. Paydon also did a great job of back-checking! Bennett was back at home in his regular position on defence where he makes every move look easy. Camden Ritchie and Jack Bennett worked hard to stay on top of the Ice Dogs. Braydyn Roote played extremely well, skating hard and showing strength in his shots. Liam “Bulldozer” Kelly became an enforcer this game with his aggressive offence. “Krackle” Kaden Vance did an amazing job once again, stopping many challenging shots. Parents, grandparents, friends and siblings filled the Storm cheering section, it was great to see a big crowd supporting the kids. Ice Dogs scored 3 goals leaving the final score at 3 – 3. It was a tie…that felt like a win! Submitted by Jen Fowler
