Willy's Contracting Fetch Two Weekend Wins
Willy's defeated two Kincardine teams on Saturday and Sunday to bring their record to 16 and 0 so far this season.

Saturday’s 8 – 5 win in Port Elgin over the Kinucks Tm#2 was a milestone for Saugeen Shores “Bulldog”, Spencer Sutter-Lammie. He doggedly kept the scent on the prize and never let up until the red light shone five times. These goals gave Spencer 50 on the season.  But 50 was only half of the milestone. Counting his two previous seasons, Spencer has now registered 100 goals on the gamesheet as a Novice hockey player in the WOAA. Like the Energizer Bunny, he just keeps on ticking.  Kaya Hall and Dylan Poulsen also contributed in the scoring with two and one respectively.  Sunday’s game at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine was a 13 – 1 rout over the Kinucks Tm#1. A photographer remarked that our team must do power skating because we had such good skaters.  Spencer continued where he left off the day previous as he duplicated his 5 goal outburst plus added an assist for an 11-point weekend.  Kaya Hall contributed 4 goals and an assist while Dylan Poulsen was also hot, tallying a hattrick plus an assist. Zach Leaver feathered a nice shot from the point that eluded the screened Kinuck goalie. Picking up assists were Kaden Vance and Quinn Fowler. Braydyn Root, Camden Ritchie, Zach Leaver and Kaden Vance played strong defence in front of AP goalie Jacques Lariviere who is becoming more and more comfortable playing at the Novice level and is getting valuable playing experience for next year. Cali Drope never lost a face-off and Tanner McGrory with surprising speed for a six year old and Emily Russett who also surprises the opposition with her deft moves had good games.  Next game is Saturday in Southampton at 1:15 vs Owen Sound.
