Willy's Contracting Finish Round-Robin On Top
Willy's Novice LL Tm#2 played their fourth game of the playoffs Saturday afternoon at The Plex and registered their fourth win.
This was their 2nd win in a row by a surprisingly wide margin for a playoff game. Willy’s rode the shutout goaltending of Krackel Vance and the biggest single game scoring outburst of the season for Spencer Sutter-Lammie with 7goals and an assist. Krackel made some standout saves to register his second perfect game of the playoffs while Spencer’s motivation was attributed to the attendance of his 2½ day old beautiful little sister Amelia. To top it all off Spencer also counted his 100’dred point of the season. Congratulations Bulldog! The Hall dual contributed four with Kaya having a hattrick and Olivia potting one. Dylan Poulsen had a goal plus 3 assists and Zach Leaver rounded out the scoring with one. Emily Russett earned one helper and our strong defensive forward Quinn Fowler chipped in with two assists. Although he didn't figure in the scoring, Camden Ritchie had a heck of a two-way game and was presented the Digger Helmet for his tireless efforts. Willy’s now await the conclusion of the round-robin and will play the second place finisher in a best 2 out 3 series for the overall Championship. Practice Wednesday 5pm in Southampton.
