Scotiabank Storm Novice LL3 Make it Four in a Row
The Scotiabank Storm Novice LL3 team made it four wins in a row this past Monday (Nov 8), getting past TCDHMA LL1 by a score of 7-2.

The celebrations started early as another Storm birthday boy, Logan Lemcke, gave a gift to teammate Curtis Vandenberg with a nice feed to open the scoring early in the first.  Not to be outdone however, the TCDHMA team capitalized on a goalmouth scramble 50 seconds later, sliding one past Storm goalkeeper James Fowler.  The tension mounted with the score notched at ones, but a late period goal by Storm defenceman Isaac Bester (assisted by Sam Kozelenko) let the Storm fans breathe a sigh of relief going into the first intermission.

As is becoming customary with this squad the second period belonged to the Storm. The forward line of Vandenberg, Matthew Martin and Skyler Pomroy was firing on all cylinders with Martin and Pomroy each scoring twice in the second frame (assists going to Vandenberg, Darrin Shular, Francesca Alpajaro, and Ryan Perry)  to put the Storm up 6-1.

TCDHMA mounted a short lived comeback midway through the third firing one past goalie Fowler, playing his last game in net for the Storm, but the game was put away less than a minute later as Lemcke put the Storm up 7-2 on a highlight reel goal assisted by Perry.

TCDHMA will surely try to exact some revenge when the two teams face off again this coming Tuesday Nov 16 in Desboro.
