Southampton Foodland/Carson Plumbing Win 2nd Game In Round Robin
Saugeen Shores Tm#1 defeated Shallow Lake Tm#1 Saturday morning in Shallow Lake  6 - 3 for their second win in their opening round of playoffs.

Both teams were playing it close to the belt until Kaya Hall opened up the scoring with an unassisted marker at 5:36 of the first period. Shallow Lake responded two minutes later to send the teams into the second period tied at ones. Nice passing and sound positional play were giving Saugeen Shores the scoring opportunities but strong goaltending by Jesse Cunningham kept his team in the hunt. Spencer Sutter-Lammie broke through with two quickies followed by a pair by Ray Hou.  Before the period ended Shallow Lake brought their team back into it with a late goal and another one early in the third. But with the play still favouring Saugeen Shores they responded with an insurance tally from The Bull-dog Spencer and Jolina McLean followed suit by closing the door for the final half period. Forwards Aiden DeVries, Ethan Walsh, Keyanna Kimewon, Braydyn Root and Jared Kerr always seemed to at at or near the puck and Jolina's defencemen Hunter Barnard, Blake Shields, Amber Gallie and Ray Hou provided a formidable wall in front of her all game. Power forward Kaya Hall and slick Spencer Sutter-Lammie are providing Saugeen Shores an enviable balanced attack. Next game Sunday in Paisley at 12pm vs Arran-Elderslie.
