BDO Dunwoody Atoms lose heartbreaker in Kincardine
Last Wednesday, the BDO Dunwoody Atoms travelled to Kincardine for a game at the Davidson Centre.  The Storm got on the board in the 1st when Harrison Alvarez scored with assists from Brendon Morano and Hayden Duplantis.  Our forwards continued to press as Tristan Rajendra, Michael Fiegehen, and Paul Leger helped to move the puck.  The next goal was disallowed which would have given the boys a solid lead but gave Kincardine the momentum it needed to stage a comeback.  The home team scored two goals in the second to take a 2-1 lead.

Our boys did not give up and were able to tie the game in the third on an unassisted goal by Eric Langridge.  Defensive play was strong through the efforts of Tyler Donaldson, Chris Gilbert and Mike Bohnert.  However, a shot from the point past Jack Flarity in the closing minutes of the third gave Kincardine the victory.  Next up for the Storm is a weekend tournament in Strathroy.  Written by Christine Flarity
