Pee Wees Finish Regular Season Undefeated
Southport Optimist Pee Wee Locals, under the fine direction of Coach(s) Andy Barnard and Jeff Plante, the Storm finished 2011/2012 regular season undefeated and now look to bring that same effort to the upcoming playoffs. The final game ended with a 7-1 victory over Bruce Peninsula. Christian Doubt played strong between the pipes and although BP had a number of chances, only one squeaked through late in the game to rob Doubt of a shutout. Passing play was strong overall and paid off with a number goals and a few crowd pleasers that didn't actually make it to the back of the net. Congratulations to the coaches and players for a successful regular season.
