Midget C girls win first game of their season.
Midget C girls win first game against Georgian Shores on Sat. Feb 4 in Meaford. The girls played to win and played as a team.
The girls played an awesome game. Leah Tuck scored 2 goals, Laura Steele also scored 2 goals with assists going to Kaylee Martin, 2, and Nicole Steele, 1. It was a fast paced game with lots of end to end play. Elyse Wolski played awesome in goal, allowing only 1 goal for Georgian Shores. The girls were definitely on fire to win and they came through.
The next game is on Saturday Feb 11, 2012 at the Plex at 6:00 pm. The girls play the first of 3 playdowns to see who will represent our region at the provincial tournament in Toronto area on April 13-15, 2012. Good Luck girls!
