Storm best in loop
Storm best team in loop Submitted By Ryan Lamont               The Ralph’s Pee Wee A/E Storm looked to continue their winning ways against an also unbeaten Kincardine squad on Tuesday.

The Storm and Kincardine both had many scoring chances in the early minutes of this game.  Ryan Crosetta opened the scoring after a scramble in front, when he slapped the puck home from behind the goaltenders pads with Wyatt LaBlance and Taylor Schihl getting the helpers. Minutes later Mikyle Romanowich took a nice pass from Ryan Hopcraft in the Storm’s zone. Romanowich went on an end to end rush, and scored a highlight reel goal glove side. Kincardine cut the lead in half early in the second after the Storm couldn’t clear the puck out of their zone. Later after picking up the puck in the Kincardine zone, Romanowich let a flick shot go and potted an unassisted goal. Seconds later Schihl scored a goal in front with Stephen Pilar getting the helper. Kincardine would then cut the lead in half again. Crosetta would add his second of the night one minute later with Justin Lamont getting the helper, to give the Storm a commanding 5-2 lead. Kincardine would not back down though, and Aaron Cruchley made some key saves to preserve the win.

The Storm travelled to Listowel on Sunday. Minutes into the game after working hard to dig the puck out  Jesse Cannon was able to find the back of the net with Braden Kelly getting the helper.  Midway through the first, Kelly took advantage of a Listowel turnover and beat the goaltender glove side. Late in the frame, Crosetta beat the goaltender five hole with Pilar assisting to build up a 3-0 lead for the Storm. Cruchley would make huge saves early in the second to keep the shutout bid alive. Listowel would spoil the shutout three minutes into the second. Hopcraft answered after skating into the Listowel zone and scoring stick side with Crosetta helping.   The Storm followed when Cannon scored his second of the game with Kelly and Troy Contois assisting. Late in the second Listowel would cut the lead in half again.  Both goaltenders were very sharp to start off the 3rd.  Halfway through the final frame after a Pilar shot, Lamont picked up the rebound and put the storm up 6-2.

The Storm look to continue their hot streak Saturday at 3:30 in Port  Elgin while hosting Goderich.  This will be a tune up game for the boys before travelling to Strathroy for a tournament November 21-23.
