Bantam Girls HL, U15 (OMHA), 2018-2019 (Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey)

The Saugeen Shores Bantam Girls HL Storm closed out their season this weekend with their Playoffs, losing a tight one in their opener to Kincardine, 3-2, rebounding to beat host Howick C, 4-0, and then tying Mount Forest C, 3-3, and narrowly missing out on advancing to the Championship game (by a half point).  The girls played great and a big thanks to Mackenzie, Celsey, Ari and Bella for pitching in for the shorthanded Storm this weekend. The Saugeen Shores Bantam Girls HL Storm closed out their regular season today with an impressive 8 - 1 win over the Upper Maitland Mustangs C Girls in Wallace.  With the win the Storm moved to the top of the HL standings. Leading the offense for the Storm was Elly with 4 goals and an assist, great game!  Molly also had a big game with 5 points, with 2 goals and 3 assists.  Andie and Clara completed the scoring for the Storm with 1 goal each. The Saugeen Shores Bantam Girls HL Storm hosted the Upper Maitland Mustangs C Girls today in Southampton. The Storm skated past the Mustangs by a score of 3 - 1. Andie led the offense scoring all 3 Storm goals for the hat trick, well done, and Molly picked up an assist.  Filling in for the short handed Storm today were Ari in net, Bella, Cheyenne and the MacDonald sisters, Lauren and Caitlin.  All played great, thanks so much for joining the Bantam HL girls today.  It was also great to get Gracelyn back today. The Saugeen Shores Bantam Girls HL Storm hosted the Wingham Ironmen C Girls tonight and lost a hard fought, close game, by a score of 3 - 1 in Southampton. Elly scored the Storm's goal assisted by Morgan and Andie.  A big thanks to Lauren, Ash, Grace and Sydney for joining the shorthanded Storm tonight, thanks girls! Emma had the shutout in net and Morgan led the offense with 3 goals, for the hat trick, and an assist, nice work! Also scoring for the Storm were Clara with 2, and Andie with 2.  Assists went to Madison with 2, Molly with 2, Elly, Clara, Sophia and Cheyenne.  A big thanks to Cheyenne, Aamina, and Caitlin for joining the shorthanded Storm today from the PeeWee Girls team, great game by all 3!
