Bantam HL Girls Storm Edged by Grimsby to Finish Stoney Creek Sweetheart Tourney
The Bantam Girls HL Storm finished their weekend in Stoney Creek at the 2019 Sweetheart Tournament with a tough 2 - 0 loss against Grimsby. Grimsby scored an empty netter with 5 seconds remaining to clinch the win.
A tie or win would have sent the girls to the semi-finals on Sunday. Regardless, it was a fun, successful weekend for the girls. MVP for tonight's game was Molly (the Llama) Solomon, who pitched in on both forward (Centre) and defense. Great game Molly!
