On Saturday, the Seaman and Sons Builders Atom C team travelled to Mount Forest to avenge an ugly loss from the previous weekend.

The weekend before, the Storm girls were pasted 8-0 by the Rams at home.  Today, the coaching staff and parents had hoped to see a little better effort.  The first 5 minutes of the first period, the chances went back and forth.  Meghan had some key saves and her defense of Gracie, Brennyn, Maeve and Caitlin were there to clear out any rebounds.  This carried on all game.  Just over the half way mark of the first period Avery stole the puck and carried it down a partial break away and scored the first goal of the game.  The girls were pumped and followed up with another goal 2 minutes later as Avery won the face off to Jadyn and she one-timered it home.  The second period was scoreless with some good chances by Mykah, Jayna and Cheyenne, who were aggressive carrying the puck up the boards.  Half way through the third period the Storm girls added one more.  Caitlin held the puck in the offensive zone and Kylie blasted one past a "Mykah" screened Rams goalie.  Assists to Caitlin and Mykah.  The girls remained calm in the final 37 seconds with Caitlin in the penalty box for the second time, and the Rams goalie pulled, Meghan and her defenders kept the puck out of her net for the shutout and win.  Next game, Sunday in Mildmay.
