Season Kickoff!
Novice B has a blast in Oro!
The last weekend of September the Novice B team hit the ice at the Oro Early Start Novice/Atom Rep Tournament and played some great hockey!
Their first game was Friday evening against the Penetang Flames and they came away with a 6-2 win! Goals were made by Brendan Lamont, Michael Bourassa, Hiatt Rich, Johnny Ballard and Jacob Reinwald.
The second game was a tough one that had end to end action. They played against Tilsonburg, it ended in a 7-3 loss, but the score didn't reflect how close the battle actually was. Goals made by Brendan Lamont, Johnny Ballard and Hiatt Rich.
Our final game was against Thorold Thunder and the came away with a 4-2 win! Lots of great plays made the Saugeen Shores Storm team stand out and take the W!
The kids showed that practice truly pays off as they executed many of the plays they were shown in practice. Lots of passing, lots of back checking and lots of determination gave us a wonderful start to the season!!
