Scoreboard Sports Too Down Walkerton
The Scoreboard Sports Too Bantam Storm took on the Walkerton Capitals on Sat Oct 29th at the Plex.  The storm earned a well fought 5-1 victory.

The game featured solid two way play for the Storm.  The Storm opened the scoring 9 minutes into the game.  Dylan Thomas cut off a clearing attempt by Walkerton and his wrist shot from the point found the netting behind the Walkerton goaltender.  The Storm moved the puck well and carried the majority of play early.  The Scoreboard Sport Too gang widened the gap at the mid way point of the second period when Thomas notched his 2nd of the game with another wrist shot from the point.  The Storm went to the dressing room with the shutout in progress.  The Capitals made things interesting 8 minutes into the 3rd period when the Storm turned the puck over trying to keep the puck deep in the Walkerton end.  The miscue resulted in a 4 on 1 for Walkerton which they converted to make it a 2-1 game.  The goal seemed to ignite the Storm.  The Scoreboard Sports Too gang replied a minute later when Cam MacKay fed a nice pass to Coby Stanley.  Stanley fired a wrist shot from the right face off circle that beat the Walkerton goaltender to restore the 2 goal lead.  The Storm were now on a roll.  The Storm replied again only 20 seconds later.   Thomas fired a wrist shot from deep in the slot that Terrance Johnson deflected to make it a 4-1 game.  The Storm continued to press and Thomas closed the scoring with his hat trick goal on another wrist shot from the point with only 20 seconds left in the game.   The game would go into the books as a 5-1 Storm victory.  The Storm now hit the road before returning for their next home game on Tues Nov 8th at 7:30 pm in Southampton.
