First win in the first game of the season at home against Shallow Lake
on Friday, October 22nd! The game was fast paced and exciting, it was a
great game for both teams. A shut out for our goalie Alec Horning , 4 -
0! The saves he did have to make were amazing!! Not to forget our
forwards and defense on their awesome teamwork to get our 4 goals!!
Jared Cameron (#12) gave LL#2 the first goal in the first period, assisted by Theo Wilkinson (#8) and Josh Briggs (#18). During the 2nd period, the opposing team was intimidating, but our 2nd goal came from Jamie Kuhl (#9), assisted by Josh Briggs and Toby Wilkinson (#17). Again, Jared Cameron rushed Shallow Lakes goalie and scored our 3rd goal in the 3rd period, assisted by Eric Johnson (#13) and CJ Palmer (#11). Colby Ritchie, strong all game, gave Ll#2 the fourth goal, assisted by Jared Cameron and Josh Briggs.
Josh Briggs says "I've liked the game so far! I liked the feeling of getting on the ice and skating around getting warmed up for the game and the practises."
CJ Palmer says " Well, I felt good about the game because it was the first game and we won it! The part of the game that I liked was when I got the assist fore the 3rd goal!
