Atom AE, 2009-2010 (Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey)

Congratulations to Saugeen Shores volunteers, organizers, parents and players on a well run, fun filled tournament weekend.  These events wouldn't be achievable without the collective support of those who help.  So, from the ATOM AE Team to the organizers and volunteers - THANK YOU. Tibor's / Rosner's ATOM AE Storm finished up WOAA Round Robin Play this weekend with two tight games, first a rematch against BCH, followed up by a repeat game against a strong Drayton team on Saturday afternoon.

Tibor's/Rosner's ATOM AE Storm team achieved another win tonight in Listowel determined to better the 3-1 loss from last week.   The team dominated first period play with a goal to start and end the first 10 minutes.  Brayden Horseman assisted by Emma Vanhaelemeesch got the team on the scoreboard, with Malcolm Mcintosh finishing the period with an unassisted goal with just 1:22 left.  Second period play had some near misses for both teams, with 3 goals scored.  Aidan Akerman scored a goal, with assists from the strong combination of the Col(e)ton's who assisted on the play, putting the team ...

And STAND UP THEY DID in this weekend's playoff action against Howick and BCH.  Tibor's / Rosner's Atom AE's did not disappoint in roundrobin play this weekend, first in Southampton vs. Howick, followed by a hard fought nail biter in Hensall Sunday night vs. BCH.

February 6 and 7 had STORM back on the ice after a couple of weeks getting prepared for WOAA playoff action.  After shaking some of the dust bunnies off, the team got a good warmup on Saturday for Sunday action against Listowel.
