Storm Victory Against The Lakers
The Power Workers' Union/Meridian Credit Union PeeWee LL Storm won their third straight game against Shallow Lake on Saturday, December 12th.

Ben Vecchies started the game off with a goal in the first 3 minutes, assisted by Dan Hilbers.  The players battled for the puck for the rest of the period with no goals thanks to the solid effort of Saugeen Shores goalie Brady Conley.

The second period had plenty of action with Hilbers netting 2 and Mike Bohnert adding a single.  Assisting in the effort was Blake D'Angelo and Bohnert.  Shallow Lake earned 2 goals, making it 4 - 2 for the Storm going into the third.
Following a win on a face-off from Hilbers, Austin Morris scored on a hard shooting one timer.  Thomas Forsyth added the Storm's 6th goal on a fast break away with only 4 minutes left in the game.  Richard Besito defended his posts during the fast-paced 3rd period with the Lakers getting lucky with only one goal, making the final score 6 - 3 for the Saugeen Shores Storm.
The Storm's defensive lines, Levi Klie, Brennan Harvie, Carter Swanson and Bohnert, remained assertive and consistent throughout the game.  The Storm relied on Ethan Ritchie, Tyler Muzzel, and Evan Lamont who kept the heat on the Lakers for the entire game.
Keep up the great team-effort!  Go, Storm, Go!!!!
