Storm Victory in Shallow Lake
The Meridian Credit Union/Power Workers' Union PeeWee LL Storm dominated the Shallow Lake Lakers with an 8-1 victory on November 28th at the Shallow Lake arena.

Strong defensive team efforts from Levi Klie, Carter Swanson, Michael Bohnert and Brennan Harvie, and rock solid goaltending from Richard Besito were key factors in Saturday's win.
Bohnert netted the Storm's first goal in the first two minutes of the game.  Shallow Lake tied the game 1 -1 midway through the first period.  Going into the second period, the Storm started to come on strong with Austin Morris getting two past the Shallow Lake goalie, and Ben Vecchies finding the back of the net with a great pass from Harvie.
Carrying a strong lead into the third period, the Storm showed no sign of easing up on the Lakers.  Two minutes in, Dan Hilbers fired a hard shot into the left top corner.  Harvie added the 6th goal with some great hands and fast skating.  Tyler Muzzel fired in a goal after a beautiful pass by Thomas Forsyth.  Blake D'Angelo was strong and looking great on the wing throughout the game.
With only one minute left in the game, Terrance Johnson finished the Lakers off, leaving the final score 8 - 1.
Good game boys.  Keep up the great team-effort!
The PeeWee LL Storm play next on December 5 at 2:15 at the Plex.
