PeeWee Girls, 2009-2010 (Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey)

The Port Elgin Veterinary Clinic / Port Elgin Lions Club Storm Pee Wee Girls secured themselves a spot in the second round of the OWHA Regional Playdowns with a spectacular 2-1 win against the Tiverton Thunder on Saturday at the Plex in Port Elgin. 

The Port Elgin Veterinary Clinic / Port Elgin Lions Club Storm Pee Wee Girls managed to keep their playoff hopes alive Sunday by securing a tie against Normanby at their home rink in Ayton, ON.

The Port Elgin Veterinary Clinic / Port Elgin Lions Club Storm Pee Wee Girls earned a much needed 5-3 win in Tiverton Friday night against the Kincardine Kinucks HL team.  The Storm girls had gone winless in the month of December and were hoping for a victory to lift their spirits as they prepare for their last tournament of the season next weekend in Orangeville.

The Port Elgin Veterinary Clinic / Port Elgin Lions Club Storm Pee Wee Girls took third place in a one day tournament this week in Lions Head. The first ever Reg Krueger Memorial Tournament was hosted by the Peninsula Wild, who went on to win the gold medal.

There is healthy rivalry developing within the Pee Wee Girls division of the WOAA and it’s resulted in some entertaining hockey games so far this year. The Storm Pee Wee Girls played another outstanding game in Southampton on Monday night, defeating the Tiverton Thunder 2 - 1. This was the second one-goal victory for the Storm over Tiverton this year, the first being a 4 - 3 nail biter on October 18.
