Bantam C Girls Advance to Provincials
Following a successful season and two rounds of playoffs, the Remax Land Exchange and Midsummer’s Café Bantam C girls have qualified for the Provincials in Brampton.

Round 2 of the playoffs saw the girls come up against three of their arch rivals, Markdale, Tiverton and TCDMHA.  After losing their first game against Markdale, 2-0, the girls had to win the next game against Tiverton to stand a chance of qualifying for provincials.  They came out flying, scoring in the first few minutes of play.  Despite Tiverton’s determination and strong fore checking, the Storm continued to play strong and focused the entire game, and won the game 3-1.

The Storm’s third and final opponent was TCDMHA.  Having lost to this team three times in the season, the girls were very motivated for the challenge.  Again, the girls were strong out of the gate and first on the scoreboard.  They would carry that one goal lead until 10 minutes left of the third period, when TCDMHA were finally able to tie it up.  The game ended in a 1-1 tie!  With the win and a tie in the round robin, the Storm Girls had enough points to qualify for the provincials.  This is the first time to provincials for many of the girls on the team.   They will be held in Brampton on April 9, 10 and 11th.  The coaching staff and parents are all very proud of the girls and wish them the best of luck at Provincials!!!!  GO Storm GO!!!!
