Bantam Girls C, 2009-2010 (Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey)

The Remax Land Exchange and Midsummer’s Café Bantam C Girls Win Bronze at Provincials  written by Wayne Albright  Sixteen eager players entered the final Provincial tournament in Brampton and returned home to Saugeen Shores a winning team!  Fierce determination, supportive attitudes and a common goal to be champions drove the team through six nerve-racking, entertaining games. The round robin format included 4 divisions of 4 teams, sixteen teams in total competing for the same prizes.

Following a successful season and two rounds of playoffs, the Remax Land Exchange and Midsummer’s Café Bantam C girls have qualified for the Provincials in Brampton.

The Remax Land Exchange and Midsummer’s Café Bantam C girls have just finished up an intense first round of playoffs!   Game one found the Storm battling Kincardine and despite a good  effort came up just short at 3–2 for Kincardine.  Captain McKenzie Brown scored both goals of the evening, with assists going to Sydney Morton, Delaney Brown and two to Samantha Harvie.  

Written by Samantha Albright. On November 1st, the Remax/Midsummer’s Cafe Saugeen Shores Bantam C Girls team was victorious against Beaver Valley with a final score of 10-2. All players did amazing playing offensively and defensively, backed up by the talented goalie, Bryanna Cobean.
