Peewee B Defeats Mitchell!

Peewee B started a first to 6 point series against their most formidable rival of the season, Mitchell Meteors.  Games were expected to be close and exciting and the boys certainly lived up to that expectation!

The first game in Mitchell was a disappointing, but tough fought game.  The kids lost 4-3 in OT with points coming from 5 different Storm players!  We hosted Mitchell the very next day in a very similar matchup.  This time STORM pulled out a big 4-3 OT win with Chad Lawrence lighting it up with 3 goals!  Mitchell came back to the Plex the following weekend for yet another OT win for STORM!  Luke Thornley, Dustin Heipel and Chad Lawrence picked up some goals, assisted by Brock Dickson and Will Nason.  With one more win in sight, the boys headed back to Mitchell geared up to defeat their rivals.  STORM dominated the second and third periods taking the score to 6-2!!  Points from Dustin Heipel, Chad Lawrence, Will Nason, Austin Dunlop, Luke Thornley and Malachai McKinnon.  STORM PEEWEE B heads into round 3 of their OMHA playdowns against Parry Sound or Ennismore next.  GO STORM GO!!!
