Chris Knott Atom AE Final Video Highlights
Submitted By Stephen Ballard on Sat 11 10, 18
The Storm Atom AE team were victorious at the 2018 Chris Knott Tournament. With fire in their hearts and ice in their veins, they went undefeated along the way, surrendering only 2 goals in 5 games. The final game was against the spirited Creemore Valley Hawks - a team that The Storm had already dispatched in the opening game of the tournament.

Goal one came in the first period. After a period of sustained Storm pressure, possession and composure, Ben Fritzley opened the scoring with an assist to Zan "The Man" Alpaugh. Goal two was a trademarked "crease-poach" from the dangerous Jake "The Snake" Reinwald, with an assist to Brendan "Brenny" Lamont. Period two saw coach Matt Lamont unleash the famous SLaB line - Spry, Lamont and Ballard. Johnny "Bomber" Ballard bossed the puck drop and fed Brenny Lamont. Lamont's shot set up a juicy, wiggly rebound for Bomber to bury. "Spryze" Spry was close behind to add extra insurance - time of the goal was 10 seconds. A fourth goal came in the third period, an unassisted effort by Zan "The Man" Alpaugh.
