Girls'Hockey Teams Continue to Impress
The Novice, PeeWee and Midget Storm Girls continues their successful seasons this past weekend. The Novice girls won the WOAA White division championship, our Peewee girls also made it to the finals and our Midget girls made it to the LLFHL finals as well. They were the first team from our association to qualify for that tournament and will be going on to Provincials the weekend after Easter.
Congratulations to the Port Elgin Veterinary Clinic Peewee girls C team! They won the silver medal at the WOAA year-end tournament this weekend.
Congratulations to the Port Elgin and District Lions Club Storm Midget Girls on bringing home the Silver Medal from the LLFHL Championship weekend. The girls got a nod from the organizers for the impressive showing in their first year in the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League.
They now look forward to the OWHA Provincial Championship weekend April 6-8.
