Submitted By Stephen Ballard on Tuesday, March 13, 2018
(Submitted by Richard Leaver)Bantam LL sponsored by Gord's Imprints & Design won the Consolation Championship at the Elaine Irwin Memorial Tournament in Lucknow.

This was a great day of hockey in Lucknow, and despite falling just shy in the first game of the tournament, the team was not out yet. They came back with a 2-0 victory over Minto to put themselves into the final. Jack Bennett earned his first shutout of the season. In the final, The Storm met up with the host team Lucknow, who they had just defeated and eliminated from the WOAA finals earlier in the week. Right off the bat, Lucknow went up by one but The Storm never gave up.They battled right back to tie it up and, midway through the third after several great chances all game, they finally got the go ahead goal to seal the championship. Player of the game in the final was awarded to Brayden Root with the game winner. Shama Pierre accepted the Trophy from the tournament conveners for the team.Next stop for Gord's Pro Shop and Imprints Bantam LL team is the WOAA Finals vs Central Perth.
