Goalie Development welcomes former NHL player
The first session of Goalie Development begins this week with a new face running the program.  Curtis Sanford, former NHL goaltender, and current Owen Sound Minor Hockey coach will be teaching this year's group of SSMHA goalies.
Curtis brings a wealth of experience, having played with the St. Louis Blues, Vancouver Canucks and the Columbus Blue Jackets before finishing his career in the KHL with the Yaroslavl Lokomotiv.
Born in Owen Sound, Curtis has returned to the area and this year is coaching the Owen Sound Junior Attack Major Peewee team.
Goalie Development begins Monday October 19th in Southampton at 7pm and is open to players who are full time goalies in Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey.
