Thanks to All Who Helped Make Silver Stick a Success
Submitted By Sean Fowler on Sunday, February 10, 2013
The 2013 Caitlyn Cobean Memorial Girls Silverstick Tournament has concluded and it's certainly one for the record books.

Everyone should be very proud of our three Saugeen Shores teams that participated ... the Novice team claimed a Silver Stick championship, while our Midget team took home second place honours after a hard fought game on Sunday afternoon to close out the festivities.

Our Pee Wee team made it through to Sunday's semi-finals, but lost out on a chance to appear in the final game in the afternoon.

43 teams participated in the tournament and, of the 78 games played, 9 ended in ties and 24 were decided by only one goal. This, combined with the fact that 5 semi final games went to overtime, speaks volumes about how evenly matched all of the teams were.

Thanks again to everyone who helped make the tournament a success.
