4th Annual Pyjama Drive
Our Saugeen Shores Storm U18B girls- proudly sponsored by the Port Elgin Lion’s Club, are inviting everyone to help us in our “Mission of Kindness”.
This is our 4th Annual Pyjama Drive, in support of the Women’s Centre Grey Bruce.
The team will be collecting pyjamas (must be new with tags) at all U18B home games leading up to Christmas.
The Women’s Centre Grey Bruce supports women and children as they build safe and sustainable lives free from abuse and violence. This Mission of Kindness was started by Diane and Ashley Shields along with the 2021 U18B girls team. This is something that the team is passionate about keeping alive and would love the help and support to make this year the best year yet!
Last year with the help and kindness of our visiting teams, our incredible hockey community and community at large, we are proud to say together we collected and donated over 600 pairs of pyjamas to the Women’s Centre. The team will have a table set up for collection at all remaining home games for 2024 leading into the holiday season. Avery and Emily Martindale are also happy to pick up locally. These girls are raising the bar, with their 2024 goal at 650 pairs of Pyjamas! There is so much more to hockey than the game itself.
🏒Let’s use the power of Social Media to do good with helping others!“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted” 💙With gratitude and kindness,Emily and Avery Martindale and the U18B Storm GirlsFor more information or any questions please email [email protected]
