U11 Rep C - U11 Rep C Support the Queen's Bar and Grill Community Christmas Eve Dinner!
Submitted By Scott Clark on Tue 12 20, 22
On Tuesday, December 20, 2022 members of the U11C Rep Team met at the Queen's Bar and Grill to help prepare meals to be delivered on Christmas Eve.

This year marks the Queen's 11th Annual Community Christmas Eve Dinner. All meals are 100% free and prepared with love by staff and volunteers. On December 24th, volunteers will deliver approximately 1300 meals generously donated by the Queen's Bar and Grill within Saugeen Shores.

Adorned in their Storm attire and Santa hats, the boys worked alongside other community volunteers scooping cranberry sauce into takeout containers to accompany the meals on the 24th.  Within no time at all, 1300 take-out containers were filled!

Playing hockey is a privilege for which we are all very grateful. It was a true honour to be able to support a local business in terms of helping make their initiative come to life. We are proud to belong to a community that looks out and supports one another.

On behalf of the coaching staff, parents, and players, we'd like to extend a sincere thank you to Pier Donnini and Christine Mitchell for letting our young players help serve our community.  Tonight they learned that they don't have to be a grown-up to make a difference and that even a small act of kindness can go a long way.  A sincere thank you to the Queen's Bar and Grill for their leadership and generosity.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
