This weekend the @ssmha U11 C played their hearts out at the Ayr Regional Silver Stick tournament and their hard work paid off!
In their first game, they won 5-1 against the Wallaceburg Lakers. The boys played an excellent game, and should be proud of their team work.
Later that day, the boys faced off against Newcastle and won 3-0.
Early Saturday morning, the boys faced off against Walkerton Capitals. The teams were well matched and it was an exciting game to watch. With a final score of 0-0, both teams moved onto their semi-final games.
With a 3-1 win over Tillsonburg in the semi-finals, the U11C Storm moved onto the finals which were held on Sunday morning at 9 AM. The team came out strong, maintained the intensity and came out the champions with a 4-0 win over the Walkerton Capitals.
Congratulations boys. Way to represent Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey. Good luck the rest of the season!
