Adult Beginner Hockey Continues...
Submitted By Stephen Ballard on Sat 12 04, 21
Adult Beginner Hockey resumes in January.

Always wanted to play but never had the chance? Here's your chance...Adult Beginner Hockey has been running in Saugeen Shores since 2017. We are a co-ed program for adults who are not at a recreational league level of play. (You need basic skating skills and full hockey equipment.)

We scrimmage on Sunday mornings. Level 2 (Advanced Beginners) will run from January to March 2022, and we hope to have Level 1 (Basic Beginners) as well, depending on numbers registered.

We have had several minor hockey parents in the program who have now gained the confidence to assist their kids as coaches, trainers and extra help on ice. We now even boast our first SSMHA Head Coach!

Registration for the January sessions is coming soon.

If you would like to try out Level 2 (Advanced Beginners) before January, you have the ability to attend 1,2 or all 3 of the final December sessions on a pay-as-you-play basis. This is a direct link to program in the town's registration system.

If you would just like to check out to level of play in Level 2, stop by the Coliseum in Southampton at 9 am on December 5th, 12th, or 17th to see the standard of play.
