Hey Saugeen Shores goalies, we're back!
Due to minor hockey "bubbles," etc, SSMHA goalie development cannot run this season. Harris-Mercer goaltending has taken over the 6-7pm ice time on Mondays at the Southampton Coliseum to offer our goalie training program.
The program will be led by Richard Harris, Mike Mercer, Melanie Harris and other coaches that many of our goalies will know from past years.
We'll be offering 3 sessions for each age group.
Novice/Atom (now U8/ U9 and U11) together on Nov 9, 16, 23.
Peewee/Bantam/Midget (now U13, U15 and U18) together Nov 30, Dec 7, Dec 14.
We have a 9 goalie cap for each session. If goalies want to take part they are required to pay for all 3 sessions up front for their age group. Cost is $20 per session ($60 total), to be paid in full to Richard Harris, either by e-transfer to [email protected] or by cheque. This is a non-refundable payment.
The first 9 goalies from each age group to commit and pay will get the spots. We are offering this to Saugeen Shores goalies first but if we don't fill it we will be going outside the association. This is not affiliated with SSMHA. We will be following all local arena protocols. Once the groups are set more information will be sent out to those involved.
