Attention Coaches!
SSMHA Coaches:Thank you so much for stepping up to hit the ice with our 2020/2021 players during these very uncertain times. You are appreciated! The season will begin with development skates at the end of this month.
The SSMHA would like you to know that we are working with the Development Committee to ensure that you are supported and guided in whatever it is you need to help make this season fun and safe, while you develop the kids' hockey and personal skills. There will be people on the Development Committee dedicated to being on ice with you and your players, watching practices to determine potential new practice plans, and offering coaches training. They will be available via email/phone for questions and concerns. The SSMHA executive will be working alongside the Development Committee to ensure that the association is following all the OMHA/OWHA, Public Health and Municipality guidelines to keep everyone healthy and happy.
If you haven’t yet decided whether you are going to help with this season, please take some time to consider dedicating your talents with the association. Feel free to reach out to any of the VP’s and fill out the "Intent to Coach" form on the SSMHA site.Thank you so much for your support. We will be contacting you with further details later in this week, once player groups have been determined.
