Hagen and Lemcke win SSMHA Academic Award
SSMHA President, Mary Campbell, recently met with Austin Hagen (L) and Logan Lemcke (R). Austin and Logan were co-winners of the SSMHA Academic Award, achieving identical 93% averages at Secondary School.
The SSMHA Academic Award of $250.00 is awarded to players who are leaving the organization for further education. Austin Hagen will be attending the University of Waterloo to study Mechanical Engineering. Logan Lemcke has deferred his university place for this year, and will return to SDSS to concentrate on Co-op education placements.
SSMHA promotes academic excellence, and is pleased to offer this award after each season.
