PeeWee B are Tillsonburg Tournament Champs!

Good start for the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 340 Storm PeeWee B team, with a tournament win in Tillsonburg this past weekend.
The team is starting to show some chemistry and getting very solid goaltending, with split duty from Kelvin Gottschalk and Tyler Little. Friday was a hard fought 2-2 tie vs Kincardine. Saturday included two wins vs Oro (3-0) and Ft Erie (3-1). We entered Sunday’s game as top seed in our division, and played Tillsonburg in the semi-final. A 3-2 OT win, which included a exciting penalty kill in OT, ended with Charlie Bennett ending the game with a nice backhand finish.
The Final was a rematch vs Kincardine ending in 1-0 win, with Kelvin Gottschalk posting the shut out and Emmett Jackson getting the game's only goal. Congrats to Blake Lamont on being leading tournament scorer, and Kelvin Gottschalk for top goaltender.
