Bantam Girls HL Storm Tie Walkerton C on the Road
The Ziegler Lumber Saugeen Shores Bantam HL Girls Storm travelled to Walkerton on a wintery night to take on the 2nd place Walkerton C Girls and came away with a hard fought 4-4 tie, well done girls!
Morgan had a big night, scoring twice and assisting on Ash's goal. Also scoring was Clara, who put the Storm ahead 4-3, but Walkerton skated hard to tie the score at 4-4 with 4 minutes left in the 3rd. Ash also had 2 assists, for a 3 point night, and Sophia and Syd came away with one assist each. A big thanks to Syd, Grace, Ash and Lauren for pitching in tonight with many of the HL girls away for the holidays.
All the girls skated hard and Emma made a number of great saves. Great game to close out 2018. Happy Holidays girls and Go Storm Go!
