Saturday Matinee
Saturday afternoon, the Remax Land Exchange Bantam Girls welcomed the Central Perth Predators to town. The Storm coaching staff and parents were able to leave their snow suits at home as the girls were playing their only home game of the season at the Plex.
The Bantam's played the Predators two weeks ago in Milverton and squeaked out a 2-0 win. Today the Girls jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the first period with goals from Maggie (beautiful deke), Sabra, Chloe and Brooklyn. Assists to Natalie, Layla, Lauren and Brook. The second period the Storm girls added to their lead with another goal from Sabra assisted by Layla. Chloe took care of the scoring in the third period to complete the hat trick with a beautiful bar down goal to finish it off. Assist to Ashley. Final score, 7-1 with great goaltending from Ashlin. Next up, Kitchener Fall fest Tournament.
