International Silver Stick Champions! The Port Elgin Vet Clinic Pee Wee Girls are Silver Stick Champions!
On Championship Sunday, the Storm Girls needed triple overtime to defeat a strong Lucan Irish team 2-1. The Storm Girls were down 1-0 but kept pushing and evened up the score. Overtime was a sudden death, 3 on 3 contest. Both teams had numerous chances but it was Miss C who notched the game winner in the 3rd overtime frame. Team members include the Wall, Wiggy, Sharky, Giggles, the Molly Lama, Maggietron, Duff, Thunder, Wheels, Miss C and Lightning. All Coaches and Parents are very proud of these girls who continue to work together to become a better team both on and off the ice.This accomplishment has been viewed 726 times.
