We might of lost our first game against Hanover, but this time the team was determined to take this game home with them!
With 7 minutes and 58 seconds left on the clock in the first period, Everett Root received a nice pass from Erik Johnson to make the first goal of the game making it 1-0 for us! A few minutes later at 5:22 in the first period Desmond Gouin got the second goal unassisted making the score 2-0 for STORM! At 4:21left in the first period Arran Elderslie got their first goal of the game making the Score 2-1.
In the Second period with 3 minutes and 30 seconds left Austin Belanger and Isaac Fewster made a nice setup-play over to Anthony Sarauz to make the nice goal making the score 3-1 for us! 33 seconds later Arran Elderslie got the 5th goal of the game making the score 3-2!
At 8:03 in the 3rd period Isaac Fewster got the 6th goal of the game with Toby Wilkinson and Anthony Sarauz making the assist.With six minutes left in the 3rd period Desmond Gouin scored his second goal of the game unassisted making the score 5 - 2 for Storm. At 3 minutes and 49 seconds left in the 3rd period Arran Elderslie scored their 3rd goal of the game making the score 5-3.
Desmond scored his 3rd goal of the game making a hat trick for the night ending the game with a final score of 6 to 3 for STORM.
